A very Monday-Monday (random blather from moi)
I wouldn't call today a case of the Mondays, but as a number of co-workers have said to me today "Does it feel like the Monday of Mondays?". Yes, yes it does.
Overall it feels kind of meh, or blah, or whatever. I am not depressed, nor am I necessarily unhappy with anything, not even disappointed - just a little off kilter I guess. I have a lot to look forward to this week!
- Tonight, Joe is coming over for pizza and to meet the cat.
- Wednesday, I believe I am going bowling with some band folks and Brad himself.
- Thursday, Annelise and Yumi are coming over for some long needed catching up.
- Friday, although tentative for now, but probably going out to dinner with my family.
- Weekend...by then I am going to need some serious sleep!
So see a lot going on, plus getting to know my new cat, Humboldt Percival (formerly only just known as Percy) or aka Kitty. And can you believe that it is the end of August already! AAAAAHHHHHH.
And now I sit here at work, staring at my half eaten bowl of soup wondering what will enter my head next. Quite possibly nothing it seems. I can say that I am truly grateful for having such an awesome job and very understanding and appreciative friends. Last night Joe let me blather on IM and it was a comforting feeling. All weekend Chris had to put up with me talking to the cat, and that too was eye-opening. Like "ahh, he really DOESN'T mind that I talk to the cat as though it is a human being".
Pictures of the cat to come soon I am sure. As Chris says it is difficult to take a picture of a black and white cat when there isn't enough lighting.
Oh and Mrs. Roberts if you are reading this, GOOD FIND on the tenor sax - please please please keep your eye out for any E-flat clarinets as I have always wanted one. Oh and Amy - what is going on with the trivia this season? Starts up soon!!!
